How are sessions held?

All therapy sessions are held virtually using Jane, a secure and confidential video platform. You can meet from the comfort and privacy of your own space—no commute or added stress.

How long is each session?

Individual therapy sessions last 45 to 50 minutes. I also offer a free 15-minute consultation to help determine if we’re a good fit before starting therapy.

How often will we meet?

We’ll discuss the frequency of sessions during our first appointment and tailor it to your unique needs and goals.

What are your credentials?

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I hold a Master of Divinity in Counselling from Tyndale University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Ottawa.

What are your fees?

  • Standard 50-minute session: $160 CAD

  • Sliding scale options are available for clients facing financial hardship. Please ask during your free consultation.

Do you see refugee claimants?

Yes. I provide virtual psychotherapy for refugee claimants covered by the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP). Sessions may be covered by IFHP with:

  • A valid Refugee Protection Claimant Document (Brown Paper) with UCI number

  • A medical prescription for psychotherapy or counselling
    (IFHP does not cover concurrent therapy services.)

How do I get started?

Is my information confidential?

Yes, your privacy is a priority. All information is kept confidential according to CRPO and PHIPA guidelines. Exceptions include situations involving imminent harm to self or others, child or elder abuse, court orders, legal requirements, or disclosures you authorize. Confidentiality details are discussed in our first session.
